A smile can be very powerful.
A smile can warm a heart, cheer a spirit, encourage an action.
A smile can be from a loved one or
A simple exchange between strangers.
I have a special fondness for a smile between strangers. For me, it can be a genuine and momentary reminder of how we are all universally connected.

The Artist Challenge - The Floral
Dear Admirer,
Each and early morning,
I opened my door of red.
For there on the step lay,
A new array of flowers.
Flowers of many kinds.
Flowers of many colors.
And so with care I set
Them within my special place.
Although unknown from who ,
On each and early morning,
To my source of bright joy,
I left a note of thank you.
Such a time this went on.
Lasted smiles for the day.
A gift of peaceful calm,
Symbols of simple kindness.
Then it came upon me
A single early morning,
Awakened with knowing.
I opened my door of red
For there on the steps stood…you.

Turtle Magnets
Turtles are symbolic in many different cultures and have roots far back into history. The Chinese view the tortoise as a supporter of the world, with it's four feet as the four corners of the earth. In Hindu tradition the world rests on the back of an elephant which then rests upon a tortoise. The Iroquois of North America believe that from a turtle they are descended, ridding itself of his shell and on the back of this Great Turtle the earth sits on.One of my very favorite stories is The Tortoise and The Hare :)
(For sale in my Artfire shop, this set of two turtle magnets are made of durable polymer clay, painted, and sealed several times for surface protection)
